Excerpt from Undone By His Kiss by Annabelle Bryant and Contest for free eBook

She was a beauty, no doubt. All fluster, indignation and tempting female. Her nose tipped up at the end and the fitting observation caused him to smile. Miss Shaw struck him as a female who turned her nose up on a great many things.
He was an easygoing sort. Why he’d become obsessed with a stranger who appeared as relaxed as a wasp’s nest proved baffling. He had more important subjects to consider and the distraction of a lovely female was the last thing he desired, never mind he’d had trouble chasing her memory from his thoughts all day. Still, she fascinated him for some illogical reason. He’d watched her mouth form every word, captivated by her lips, perfectly heart-shaped, plump and kissable, and instead of comprehending her message, he wondered of the taste of her kiss, the feel of tongue.
Terribly done of him, really. Miss Shaw appeared less than interested. Her back had been rigid, her shoulders squared, yet she really was all soft skin and feminine curves.

  1. Jamie Fraser from the Outlander series is a favorite of mine even though I have so many that I like.

  2. my favorite literary character is whatever book I am reading. When I am reading about my present characters, all others leave my mind and I can only focus on that one, and I forget all the others. But then again, I am getting older so the memory isn't as good as it use to be, lol.

  3. Roland from the Gunslinger Series

  4. Way too many books I've read, and way too many characters to mention just one. How about any of the hot heroes from either Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series...although I am partial to Rio, or any of Sandra Brown's fantastic characters.

  5. I can agree with Terry for the most part. When I am fully wrapped in a novel, all other leading men leave my mind at that time. With that said, there are a few male leads that will never leave me, that are almost a part of me in a way. Here is a somewhat small list:
Trent Kalamack from the Hollows Series by Kim Harrison
Adrian Ivashkov from the Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead
Dirk Knowlton from the Hot Cowboy Nights Series by Victoria Vane
Rhys from the Dark Kings Series by Donna Grant
Aberto from the Chronicles of Izzy Series by Michelle Graves
Gypsy from the Sons of Sangue Series by Patricia A. Rasey
Jericho Barrons from the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning
Jamie Frasier from the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
There are probably many more I could think of ;) I suppose that this is what I love so very much about reading, or at least one thing. It is amazing how much characters and the struggles they face can leave a mark on your soul. How the author is able to reach a person and let them live other's lives with them is awesome. For the record, there are a few heroines I could pick out that I love more than others as well ;) Another time, perhaps.

  11. My all time favorite would be Scout from To Kill A Mockingbird. My favorite bad-ass character would be Lisbeth Salander from Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

  12. All great answers. My favorite is Madelyn from the children's book series. Her stories are the reason that I love reading so much. Because of those books I have read something from a book everyday since I was a kid. I love reading.
